CHAIN OF PROMOTIONS. Consequent upon tlio promotion of Mr. D. G. A. Cooper, Registrar of the Supremo Court at Wellington, to the position of stipendiary magistrate, the following appointments lmve been made by the Public Service Commissioner:— Mr. W. A. Hawkins, Registrar of tho Supremo Court at Christelmrch, to ba Registrar and Sheriff, Supremo Court, Wellington.
Mr. A. H. Holmes, clerk of tho Magistrate's Court, Wellington, to bo Registrar, etc., Supremo Court, Christchurch.
Mr. R. P. Ward, clerk of Court, Dunedin, to he clerk of tho Magistrate's Court, Wellington. Mr. B. Harper, dork of Court, Greymouth, to bo clerk of tho Magistrate's Court, Dunedin. Mr. E. W. Cave, clerk of Court, Nelson, to ho clerk of Court, Greymouth. Mr. J. Fitzgerald, clerk of Court, Ashburton, to bo clerk of Court, Nelson.
