A pretty wedding of interest to Now Zealanders, took place at Bt Paul's Church, Burwoed, Sydney on Boxing Day, when Mr. Edward Charles, third son of Mr. B. Geecoigne, of l.'n|morstm North, was married to Miss Netlio Bond, oily daughter of Mr. Edwm Bond, of Strathfield, Sydney. 'fho bride wore a charming rawn of silk erepo, trimmed with silk Maltose laco and pearl .embroideries. Her veil was arrangfed under a laco eap and clufitara 't>f orange blosspnia, and eho carried a. botiq'uet of crimson enrnations and asparagus fern, tied with scarlet streamers. Miss Hannah Knight was attired in a bridesmaid's frock of cream sills voilo, draped with -odilwowa laeo, a Juliet cap of pearls, and she also carried a bouquet of carnations and boil* vardias, with crimson streamers. The bridegroom's present to the bride* was a- handsonio gem bracelet, and. to tho bridesmaid a wreath brooch of rubies. Tho church was prettily-decorated for tho ceremony, and Mr. T. Hnfdy attended as best man. The bride's goingaway costume was of sand-coloured cloth, with white cloth collar and euffa, and a hat en suite. She wore a long voil. and orange blossoms, and carried a shower bouquet of whit© Iho ■ bridesmaids woro Miss Grace Robinson, sister of the bride, and Mass Violet Robinson, niece, l'ho former was attirod in cream mousileno oharmeuso, with a pale blue 'hat, and the latter in peach pink voile, with 'hat on Bwto. Both carried shower bowquets, and Woro pretty brooches of pearl and ruby, tho gifts of the bridegroom. Mr. Erie Harper attended as best man, and Mr. J*yson as groomsman. The honeymoon is being spent in Napier and Wellington, Mrs. Poster travelling in a dark brae tailored costume, with a hat to mafoh. Tho second, and final, day of tT>« annual Flower Show, held in St, Thomas's Schoolroom, was most successful, the various oxhibjts of flowers, plants; and vegetables finding ready purchasers, In tho section for decorated tiiblcH, tho voting resulted as folkws:— First prize, Mrs. llaissollj for a charming arrangement of sweot suite, shaded, ami scavia., with ehilEott of tho eamo tone. Second prize, Mrs. Clairch, carnations and gysosha. Tho geiteral verdict ro these pretty tables was evidently quito a popular one, as tho judgee' award was precisely the same as tlte public vote.
