FIRE AT TE AROHA.

A fire broke out to-day and swept over the mountain overlooking To Aro'ia, denuding it of the beautiful native busli and destroying somo 5000 trees planted by the Government to cover up the bareness caused by a similar lire two years ago. The bush surrounding the reservoir, from which tho town draws its water, has been burned, and this is expected to affect the water supply in' dry weather by inducing evaporation.
