MISSIONS TO SEAMEN.
■ .■■■■■ An appreciative audience of seamen greeted the Brooklyn Gloo. Party tins weak at- tho Seamen's Institute in Whit--more Street, when the weekly concert was held. The club was conducted by Mr. AV. M'Lollan, and were, lieard to adran tago in a number of selected glees and part songs. Solo items were.contributed by Misses Pickett, M'Plnisi, Manley, and Snelling (2), while Mr. M'Lellan's humorous recitations wcro warmly applauded. Tho programme also comprised several orchestral numbers, which were contributed by the club's orchestra. During the interval the missioner (Mr. W. E. Cocks) took the ouportunity of thanking the members of the Glee Club for many kindnesses shown to the Missions to Seamen.
