:.-• At yesterday's meeting of the Hospital Committee, Jlr. J. Smith presided over .a full nttendsr.co. t,On 'the recommendation-of the House Committee it- was decided that a spw-sl letter of thanks bo sent Mr. A. Dorsot to the nuonymoun donor of £50, to bo divided between the Victoria Homo and tho Convalescent Fund. It was further decided to place on record the thanks of the committee to tho many generous donors of cheques, gifts, goods and toys nt Christmas time, and to the matron, the nursing and medical staffs, and Sn.ll concerned in .the_decorations for tlw festive occasion. Nurse Donald's resignation was accepted with regret, and Sister B. Xurs<? was appointed relieving Sister. . . Three months' sick leave of absenco was granted tho disnen.ier. Mr. J. E Watson, and Mr. E. G. Elacklin was appointed relioring dispenser at £3 per week. The Honso Committee rreommended that AVard V verandah wslls cement washed, dining-room house, steward's residenco be re-papored, ceiling in bedroom Nurses' Home be repaired, on extra bedroom be provided for nwn's quarters, and thnt- skid.i find trolley bo provided for the dispensary. Tho recommendations werfi agreed to.
