EXGLISH TEAM'S VISIT. Tho Wellington Hockey Association decided at a special general meeting of delegates on Wednesday to confirm the committee's action in guaranteeing £73 towards the expenses of tho English heckeytoam which has been invited to visit New Zealand next winter. The matter of ways and means of raising the required guarantee was ilien. considered, and it \sas resolved to call upon the various affiliated clubs to contribute proportionate amounts. All the clubs will be circularised, and each will bo urged to secure, its contribution either from the eluli'members, officer... old members, or enthusiasts. The following committee was set up to go into details:—Messrs. Luckie. Richards, Williams, Cameron. Thompson (2'i. Manning, Cathie, Organ, Morpoth, and the secretary (Mr. Bennett).
