DEATH OF A NURSE.

' CONTRACTS DISEASE FROM A PATIENT. (By Teleßraph.-Pross AssociaMon.) . Auckland, January 14. It was reported at a meeting of tho Hospital Uommittoo that on December 20 a lad was admitted suffering from a virulent affection of tho throat. Three nurses contracted tho disease, and there was a fatal termination to one case, that of Nurso Keyworth, twentyone years of age. The nurso was in her third year of training. Another nurse is making slow recovery, and the third is convalescent. 'the Medical Superintendent stated that the occurrence was one of those unfortunate happenings bound to occur at times, despite every reasonable procaution taken.
