While in Australia he rondo arrangements for an Australian cricket team to visit New Zealand, and will report to the New Zealand Cricket Council on his return to Clmstclwrelitodav. Salmon, postmaster at Hawe'ra! is to be the new postmaster at Blenheim. • Mr. E. A. Dawson, who Was recently promoted from traffic inspector at fhorndon, was on Tuesday night presented with a Morris chair by the country staff of railway employees as a mark of appreciation. Mr. Robert Parker has goiio to Christclmrch for a few days, and will return early next week. The Rev.
