A coloured plate is -included, which will delight- the heart of every boy, showing as it does the ■football colours of tho famous English, public schools. A fino new serial by the popular writer Tom Bevnn is started, entitled "The Heir of Wyselwe-od.", Judging by tho illustrations acwrn- : panying tho iirsfc instalment, tho story, abounds 'with exciting incidents, Jules Verne also starts a serial, dealing withmysterious matters, and dewHbed fts ,''tho Master of. the World," while numerous stories deal with school lifo and sports. "The Girls' Own Paper and Woman's Magazine" Las a very pretty cover, design, which comes by way of a foretaste of tha many delightful stories and articles included in the November number. "When Mother Became Interesting," by Emily Calvin Blake, is ono of these, and it is a story that should appeal to mothers and daughters alike. "Sunshine Jane," the. story of a girl with a novel mission, continues to distribute humour and wisdom from tho pages of. tho magazine.
