MARANUI SURF CLUB. Members of tho Maranui Surf and Life-Saving (Jlub aro to tako part in a competition in reel and land drill for Mr. Moran's trophy, to bo held at Lyall Bay during the first week in February. The club is entering threo teams for tho competition, members of the respective teams being: No. 1 (in charge of R. C. Wood), Messrs. W. C. Collier, C. Arthur, L. Avery, J. Koher, L. W. Robertson, H. Farquhar, H. Easton, H. E. H. Bird, 1 , . Donnelly, l< , . M'lntosh, and S. P. Chapman. No. 2 (in chargo of ¥. Wilson), Messrs. \G. H. Neal, J. Geddis, E. Deslandes, E. lieinonger, W. Goddard, E. I'earce, 1!. Donnelly, C. J. Boveridjje, — Meates, M. Tossmaii, and T. Day. No. 3 (in charee of E. H. Livcrmoro), Messrs. J. Wilson, A. H. Dawson, H. Morris, J. Warsaw, H. Pearce. — Sievers, J. Petlierick, J. Tossman. S. C. Smith, G. AVillianison, nnd R. Hogg. Members of the above teams aro requested to assemble at the club rooms, Lyall Bay, on Tuesday and Thursday evenings for instructions. WORSER BAY CARNIVAL.
