Present indications are tot high northerly and, westerly winds. Boisterous conditions, cspocially in and southward of Cook Strait, with increasing cloudiness and mistiness. General rain following, and rivers rising on the West Ceast and • southerrt districts. Tho barometer falling everywhere soon. Storm areas have poesofl southward of the Dominion, and strong nor'-westerly winds have been experienced southward of N6w Plymouth and Castlepoint.
