■'■ :-'■/>'LADIES AT THE HELM;' : V.: '■*■■ On Saturday afternoon the Port Nicholson Yacht Club . decided a handicap ladies', yacht race,' when the following .yachts competed :—Warchou (scr.), sailed by Miss Mavis M'Lean; Mahina (4 min.). sailed by Miss Sadie' Moves; Muritai <Bmin.), sailed by Mrs. Millman; and Atalanta. (lOmin.), sailed by Mrs. Rough. The race resulted in a win for the Warchou which finisher] at 4.10 p.m:, the Mahina finishing at 4.16 p.m., being second, and the Atalanta, 4.26 p.m., being third. The second place would have gone to the Muritai which finished at 4.23 p.m., but her Bailing mistress committed an error in sailing the'course and was disqualified; The P.N.Y.C. is to decide, a general handicap on Anniversary Day.. ■■■■? . ~.'.. .
