WESTLAND JUBILEE.
(By IWcsra.pb.—Press 'Association.) Mokltlka, January 8. Tho weather was ideal again to-day for the Westlahd Jubilee celebrations. Their Excellencies and the visiting members of Parliament and local bodies motored to Lako Kaneiri, visiting the famed Dorothy Falls. Lord Liverpool expressed his delight at the grandeur of t]ie scenery, and was highly pleased with the trip. The party J-etarrred to Lako Mahinapna, where a. monster picnic was held. Motor launch' trips, sports, etc.. wero a feature of the gatlicrina;. Im* promptu concert items word given by old pioneers, and many speeches-- songs, recitations, etc. Mr. Jas, Robertson, Mayor of Lawrence, acted as chairman. The- pioneers enjoyed the outing immensely, together with the large crowds of visitors. Lata iii the .afternoon bis Excellency the Gayeniof, accompanied liv officials of the Wostland Acclimatisation Society, wont trout fishing in the iJoldlika River. Tho vicwafcal party leave here on Saturday.
