OKLAHOMA'S SURVIVORS.
ARRIVAL AT BOSTON. By Telegraph-Press Association-Copyright New Yorli, January 7. The steamer Bavaria, bringing Captain (jitntor and seven officers and men of the Oklahoma, has arrived at Boston. Captain Gunter says that there was no explosion. He was standing on the bridge, when there was heard a rending sound, and tho two parts of tlje steamer drifted apart. Later tho Spanish steamer Calvo arrived,' but tho Spanish skipper, it is said, just "fooled around." A boat went off, and Captain Gunter commanded tho skipper of the fruit boat to stand-by while tho Bavaria took off the men. FATAL EXPLOSION ON AN OILSTEAMER. SEVERAL MEN KILLED. "Times" —Sydney "Sun" Special Cables. New York, January 7. By an explosion on tho German oiltank steamer Geoatemunde, 2773 tons, at Now Orleans, several of the crew were killed and .others wounded. The hull was damaged.
