THE FINANCIAL SIDE.' (By Teleeraph.—Press Association.) Auckland, January 8. A statomont of receipts and expenditure containing some interesting information was submitted to tho Exhibition Executive to-day. As an indication of the financial posjtion of the venture it has, however, little valuo. Tho president, Mr. G. Elliot warned the executive that liabilities aggregating peiv haps £12,000, wero not included in tho scopo of the statement. Tho total receipts since tho initiation of tho Exhibition, project aro shown at £45,800 75., and tho -expenditure at £42,936 4s. 6d. The balanco (£2804 2s. Gd.) is at credit in the bank. • It was resolved to pay the Auckland Gas Company £2000 on account. The overdraft shown by tho November statement was £13,239. Tho receipts include spaco fees £14,234, gate receipts £10,366, season tickets £5586, purchase of executive interest in sideshows £5333 and £913, Royal Artillery Band £1469, building work undertaken for stallholders £2392, contributions £636, commissions on sales £783, rights of official catalogues £678, rights of catering £750, floral fete £571.
