For the past Mire? years the club lias talcen part in the Russell, AncMand, am! Mc<reer regattas wjth marited bticccss, aiicl last year partimilarir its representatives returned from theso fixtures with the-greater part of the prizo money. This season the club secured Uireo wins and threo seconds at iha Russell regatta ott December 2j\ in which there were many: competitors from Auckland and other ihiha, and at the Wbaiifjarei regatta on New Tear's Day tlie- club proved victorious in four events, coming second , in two. At this regatta, also, the prizes were mncli Bought after. The Wlianganc-i Club possesses, a youths' esew ivliieh for tivn seasons has put up an unbeaten record, and it has yet another season to go as ,a ; T.ouths' crew.
