TOWN TRAVELLER'S DEATH.
SUPPOSED OVERDOSE OF OPIUM
The death occurred at his residence m Oriental 'Terrace yesterday of Mr. Richard Mostyu Hoops, town traveller for Young's Chemical Manufacturing Co. The' deceased had been . ill for some time. Yestorday ho was in bed, and was being attended to by his relatives. Some- beef tea was taken to him, and a littlo later a member of the household went to his room to inquiro if ho would have, any more. Hoops did not, answer, and it" was soon noticed that, ho was turning blue in tho face. A doctor was sent for, and on arrival found tho patient unconscious. Death ensued hair an hour later. A bqttlo containing opium pills v>as found in tho room, and it is supposed that deceased took an overdose of thorn.
