Severe storms have raged throughout Pennsylvania, and communication has been cut off with many places. New Jersey is seriously affected. Terrific seas arc battering the coasts, doing immense damage to property. Additional Hoods at Seabright have inundated largo sections of land down in the town. The stability of several of tho churches is imperilled, and people arc leaving their' homes. The situation along Long Island is critical. The summer hotels are likely to bo washed away.
