"Triumph" motor-cycles praclicilly swept the board at the South Canterbury Motor-Cyclists' Club's Reliability Trials, held on December 11, results of which arc just lo hand. The route was from Timaru to Fairlie, via Cattle Valley. Tho day was pouring wet, and there was a .■steep hill in the journey. Th» "Triumph*' riders accounted for first (H. Nicholas) and third (Dalpleish) rdacos in the private owners' class, first (F. Baker) and second (A. l.iuvrie) in the trade ridel's' class: first, second,.and third places for pciroi consumption, and first place in the teams' class (Nicholas, • Foster, • and Baker), "Triumphs" scored full marks throughout oh the Irili-elimb, beat all competitors en petrol' consumption, and had practically a clean sheet on the scare of reliability/; The new thrco-speed "Triumphs" made especially good records in this trial. The three-speed "Trimr.rdr" has attained at a bound great popularity, sixty having been sold during the last few weeks. We hold a good stock of three-speed.? and more are due to arrive shortly.
