He said that the company had fixed a low- price for the bodies'of'the cars, as it was to'their, interest to keep down the value of dutiable parts. , Tho price of tires followed tho price of the Rubber Company's catalogue, and allowed for tho wearing of tho tires in the testing of tho complete car. These allowance .values were based on minute calculations, and, in view of the keen competition, were. vital to tho ..company. The Australian Customs had nothing to do with" tho figures; these were the same for all parts of tho world.-
