A dog figured in the experiment, which also included tho introduction of harmless dyes into tho animal's system, showing a diffusion of blood supply dyed completely green. Tho rate of flow was shown.
Doctor Carlson showed, apparatus re-, gistering tho phenomenon of hunger as fnlt by ■ a human being, and declared that tho appetite was to some extent independent of'hunger,''the former being a aiervous phenomenon of the brain. Hunger was « sensation arising in the stomach itself.
