Special Meeting of the Miramar Borough Council, held on tho 18th day of December, 1913, tho following resolution .was passed:— ;• ' The Miramar Borough Council hereby makes by Special Order the following Byltiw in''pursuance and exercise of the authorities and powers vested in it in that behalf by the provisions of "Tho Municipal Corporations Act, 1908," and . its amendments, and in pursuance and exercise of every other and Authority (if auy), enabling it.in that behalf. Tho uhort title of the By-law is the Building By-law, 1913. The objects and purport of the By-law are to make provision respecting Buildings, their sites and loundations, construction, arrangement, and. repair, the modo in which, and the materials with which they are erected and repaired, for securing stability, prevention of fire, public safety, and for purposes of health and for regulating buildings of a public character, frontages and open-air spaces, and the prevention of overcrowding, revoking the Building' By : law, 1905.
