Mr. Mori went out and found the gate open, and suddenly flames lit up the bf.ck of tlie houso. Assistance was obtained, and tho' lire, whieli was at the back wall under the verandah, wa3 extinguished. Charred paper and straw smelling oT kerosene were found, and further search revealed more paper and'straw saturated with kerosene, and footprints in the garden.
