"FROM MANGER TO CROSS."
I That splendid Scriptural picture-play "From Manger to Cross" attracted largo numbers to tho Town Hall for both the afternoon and evening portrayals yesterday. In mass and in detail tlio picture is a remarkable and an artistic achievement. The New Testament incidents are shown, with organ and vocal music appropriate to the subject. Many persons havo gained a clearer idea or the incidents in tho Life of Jesus, from Bethlehem to Calvary, than they formerly possessed, as tho result of witnessing tho film, while the character of tho country and tho habits of its inhabitants havo been vividly realised. The management desiro to acknowledge tho courtesy of Mr. Short (Short's Pictures) for giving tho services of his chief operator, Mr. J. M'Farland, who is responsible for tho excellent manner in which the pictures arc screened..
