The Board of Trndo statistical abstract for the Overseas Dominions for fifteen. years, from 1897 to 1912, shows that the population has risen from 30.7-17,600 to 37,189,700. The value of external trade has risen from £442,848,000 to £1,075,000,000, while tho trade with Britain has increased, by £137,072,000, and with foreign States •it has increased bv £30,845,300.-
