Several Acts, however, are to coino into force at later dates. The Legislature Amendment Act, tho Education Amendment Act, and tlw Divorce and -Matrimonial Causes Amendment Act eoino into force on January 1, 1014, tho Lstf.id Transfer Amendment 'Act and the Local Elections mid Polls Ad on March 1, 1914, tlw Copyright Art, the Customs Act, and tho Labour Disputes Investigation Act on April 1, and tho Footwear Regulation Act on July 1, 1914. With respect to tho Government Railways Amendment Act, that section of it applying to tlvo classification of tho First Division of tho Railway Service comes iftto force on April 1, 1914. 'Under the Law Practitioners Amendment Act regulations have to ho. ga'/.ettcd before March 31 next. lhos» sections of the Js'ativo Land AiiieisdmC'.nt Act which havu to do with tho practical abolition of tho Maori Boards, and with Native Land Court districts and Judges, will come into force on March 31, 1914, Tho Old Aff« Pensions Reciprocity Act will Hot ooni" into operation until a similar Act shall he passed by tlw Commonwealtn J arliament.
