Provision is made for a fortnight's notice on either side, hut tho ompioyeos may bo instantly dismissed for inciting workers to disregard tho provision of any clause in tho agreement or tho Industrial Arbitration Act. Tho union shall not assist in any strike till after a secret ballot by a four-fifths majority, six weeks' notice being subsequently Riven the company. A penalty of £50G a day is provided, Tho company Undertakes nut to unnecessarily cease work, and to pay £300 a day to tho imion during loclc-ouls.
