RIFLE SHOOTING.

W.B.A. MEETING. It is expected that record entries will be received by to-day for the Wellington Hide Association's championship meeting, which takes place on Boxing Day, and tho following day, December 26 and 27. Last yeir the entries totalled 170, making the meeting the biggest outside tlmt of tho Dominion Rifle Association, and entries so far received this year indicate that that number will be. reached, if not exceeded. The entries includo James, of Hastings, tho present Now Zealand champion. The Mayor (Mr. J. V. Luke), president of the association, has promised to go oat to Trentham to witness the shooting _on the second day. Riflemen are particularly requested to note that the only train available for competitors leaves for Trentham from Lambton Station at 6.35 a.m. on Boxing Day.
