Messrs. Dalgcty and Company, Ltd., Palmerston North, report:—At our Feilding sale on' Friday we had a fair yarding of sheep and a good entry of cattle. There was a very good demand right throughout, and following arc quotations.—Slixed woolly sheep 16s. Id.; mixed hoggets, 16=. 5d.; ewe 3 and iambs, to £1 Je.; yearling heifers, £2 ltls., £3, to £3 10s.: 2-year steer's. to £5 5=.; yearling steers, £3 95.; empty cows. £4 l3s.s 3-year steers, £6 17s. 6d.; iisht fat cows. £5 ss. to £5 9s. 6d.; tat cows, £6 10;. to £7 Bs.; heavy fat cows, ,£8 75.; springing heifers to £7; best quality, to £5.
The New Zealand Loan aud Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., Dannovirke, report ns follows on the sale held in the Miller's Itoad yards on Friday ;-only a, very moderate entry of sheep came forward, but there was au exceptionally heavy yarding of cattle principally grown bullocks. There wore no appreciable chaugo in tlio priccs for sheep, but cattle under keen competition inado exceptionally good prices, resulting in practically a complcto clearance of the whole yarding. We nuote:—Pat heifers, to £7 10s.; fat cows. £7 ss: to £6 fa.; store cows, £4 19a. to £3 17a.

Messrs. Williams and Kettle, Ltd.. Dannervikc, report, havine held their Inst sale of live stock for 1913, in the association's yards oil Friday. ' There, wna a full yardiuj; of cattle and a medium one of sheep, which were offered to a le,Vso attendance of buyers. Bidding was keen throughout, at prices ill advance of laa'o sale. A fino line of shorn owes was oftY-red oil account of Mr. H. F. Johnston, of ft'aitahora, aud realfecd tho satisfactory prices of 13s. sd. to 19s. Id. A lino of fat wethers averaged £1.
