Firmin Laurineric, an officer of tho Health Department, has been arrested at Toulouse in connection. with the disappearance of n man named Fojas ( a gardener. According to the police, Lanvincrie paid unwelcome attentions to Foyt's- daughter. He drugged tho father and tried to take advantage of the girl, who iled to the police. The latter believe that finding that iho drug had had fnial eifect-S, Lauvinorio buried tlio body, or threw it into the river.
Lanvincrie was of miserly habits, A search' of his house discovered £-14,000 worth of securities hidden iiraicr a bundle of rags.
