Wanganui V/edding. - Tho 'marriage took place in St. John's Church, ■ Wanganui, on Wednesday,, of Miss Dorothy Daddoicy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. I!: Biuklijley,-of lvakatalii, and Mr. Norman IS. Gibbons, youngest sou of Mr. and Mrs. Hope Gibbons, ot Wanganui. Tho ceremony was performed b.v the Her. C'arcw Thomas, and the church had been decorated by tho friends of the bride and bridegroom. Mr. Baddeley gave his daughter away. >Si!o ■ was gowned in cream crepe do ehino, tho bodice being . draped with shadow lace, avid the skirt opening over a panel of the same lace in the front. The court' train,.''which fell from tho shoulders, 'was'caught..in places with clusters of orange.blossoms, and a touch of colour..was given by a spray of palo pink roses at the waist. Her veil Was worn with a coronet of orange blossoms, and , siio. carried a shower-bouquet oi white flowers. ' Miss Both Baddeley (sister of the bride) and Miss Evelyn Baddeley were bridesmaids, and wore gowns of pale blue charnjeuse, trimmed with laee and Juliet caps trimmed with pink and blue, rosettes. They earned bouquets of flowers, to harmonise with the sprays of pink rases worn at tho waist of their frocks. Mr. Horace Scott was the best man, and Mr. Gordon Gibbons the groomsman. Mrs. Baddoley, the mother of the bride, were a gown of violet silk, with black and white ninon overdress, and a black hat with pansies. fior bouquet was of purplo sweet pens.
