WHOLE-HEARTED MOVE

Dunedin, September 18. A mooting of tlio-Dunedin branch of tho Seamen's' Union was' held this afternoon, when tho proposals of shipowners governing the working conditions at present under discussion in Wellington were submittcd'for approval of members. Those proposals provided for tho resumption of employment on certain terms, which do not involve a material departure from the existing agreement, which, however, is to register under tho Conciliation and Arbitration Act. After a mcotmg lasting about half an hour, thoso present decided by an overwhelming majority (it is, said by 173 votes to 4) .to return to work. Tlio meeting closed with cheers.
