"The amount spent ou the Navy aiid Army," ho said, "is a matter of "grave concern to lho Government, which is aware how it affects our future social legislation.'' Ho emphatically ropudisited the attompt which had boon made in some quarters to separata Mr. Churchill from tho rest of the Cabinet, j All tho members of the Cabinet, he said, were responsible for tho-naval expenditure.
