Kakama ran six furlongs in limn. 20sec., while J'act was going easier than Prince .Soult at the cud of the same distance in- lmin. 20 l-usee. Colonel Soult covered a mile in -lmin. 47scc.—a good gallop. La Reina and Bleriot-, with tho assistance of Waiorewa over tho last mile, ran twelve furlongs in 2min. 51 sec. (tho last round in ~niiu. 7 3-osec.), La lteina pleasing most. Stardancer, wlio had the best of the weight, was going easier than Warstop over six furlongs, run in lmin. L'lsec. Jack Delavnl was restricted to steady pacing. .First Flight showed better than Glenfinnan at tho end of five furlongs, run in lmin. 5 3-ssec. —the fastest gallop of tho morning. Merry Roe, under a strong pull to Keep with Self and Ovation, ran six furlongs in lmin. 22 2-ssec. Marsa alono went fivo furlongs in lmin. Bsec., and Stevedore finished better than Quarantine at tho end of a mile in lmin. 54see. Sir Solo was not bustled to get- six furlongs in, lmin. 26 2-oseo. Soultikoff, Prince Merriwoo, and Marconi finished in that order at tho end of a milo and.a quarter in 2min. 23 2?ssec. (the last round in 2min. 10 1-asec.). Marshal M'Douald beat Jolie Fills over a mile and a quarter in 2min. 20 2-ssec., tho last round in 2min. 7 l'-ssec. Hymettius galloped fivo furlongs in lmin. Bsee. Potoa, with the assistance of Hinerewa over the last six furlongs, ran a mile and a half in 2min. 53 2-ssec. (tho last round in 2min. 9 4-oseo.). The Cup horse was not doing Kis best. Hnskayne ran a milo in lmin. 51 l-ssec., Beldame six furlongs in lmin. 20 3-ssec., and Hyett-us ana Banian were together at tho end of tho same distance, covered in lmin 21 3-ssec. Chinio and Soltano finished on terms at tho end of four furlongs, run in 51sec. Balboa, Tho Hague, and Moddite were together two lengths in front of St. Francis over four furlongs in 52 4-ssec. Witched, l'hroso, and North-East finished in a bunch at tho end of a mile and a quarter in 2min. 22sec., while Fabrikoff was going better than Intelligible at tho end of five furlongs in lmin. 10 l-ssec. Deniso Ornio beat Silver Shield overjfejx furlongs in lmin. 21 3-ssee., and Lad}®Menschikoff gavo Sir Malt a break and beat him over six furlongs in lmin. I 20 3-sseo. (tho last-named taking lmin. 21 2-ssec.). After breakfast, Spalfish beat Field Force over five furlcngsjrom tho new post in lmin. 6 4-ssce. Goldsize ran ' six furlongs in lmin. 19 3-ssec. Tamainupo was too good for l'rcstwich over seven furlongs, run in lmin; 37sec. Worcester beat Gloy over a mile from tho new" post in lmin. 48 4-ssec._ Troy was a length in front of Gold Necklet at the end of five furlongs from the now post in lmin. 7sec. Weo Olgn went a round in 2min.< 4sec.—the best- of tho morning—but was very lame after working. Blue Garments, Vestal, and Ohanco Shot were schooled over five hurdles. The first-named lost its rider at the first fence, Murtagh getting a nasty shaking. Regain and were set a similar task,-both jumping well; as did Dawn, Poictiers, and Sesame. Haucra was schooled over tho big fences, giving a good display. Merrimax and Cloudy Dawn jumped five liurdles in good style. T. Quinlivan lia." arrived with Sea l'ink, Culprit, Cheddar, Tatterlev, and Good-night. Tho hurdlo maro Waiputero also put in an appearance.
