CARTERTON ESTATE & V \\IIL An originating summons was heard ill the Supreme Court yesterday afternoon, before J Lis Honour tho Cluet Otistico (Sir Robert Stout), when Bridget Moriarty, widow, of Nevada, United States ol America, and her " two daughters, Ilanna Linchan and Teresa Henderson ,-■ proceeded against tho Public Trustee, as trustee of the estate of Ywlliam Moriarty (formerly a Carterton storekeeper), deceased, asking for an order wliicli would provide them with maintcnanco trom the estate. '
Moriarty left £1500 to -Elizabeth,. Mary, Joseph Ilrogan, of Carterton, and tho residue of the estate to Maurico Gallapher, mino manager, and Albert M'Kinn, saddlor, both of Nevada. It was stated that deceased came to New Zealand about 50 years ago, and left his wife and daughters iii America.-'
Decision was reserved; and tlui relatives of the deceased are 'to ,be communicated with with a view.to certain arrangements being arrived at. " Mr. M.Myers appeared for the plaintiffs',;Mr'.J. W. M'Donald for tho Puklic and Mr. T. E. Maunsell for . the. rcsidu-. ary beneficiaries.
