Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Ltd. report as follows on their stock tale, held at Otoki, on Tuesday:—We had a very full yarding of both sheep and cattle, which included a' number of lines of 2-tooth sheep from the Otaki Gorge. Despite the very inclement weather, there was a good attendance of the public, and all stocks offered met with Rood comnetitioji, especially for the sheep, a few of the sales effected being :—Mixed 2-tooths, on account of Mr. 11. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. [report, that at their weekly sale at.Sohva-y yesterday, sheep came furward in average numbers. Sales were brisk, a total elearanco being effecetd. Hood ewes and lambs, all counted, lis. 2d., 14s. 6d.. 14s. 6d.; forward lambs, Ks. Bd.; fat ewes. 16s. 3d.; 2-tooth wethers. 13s. 13s. 3d., 13s. lOd. Messrs. Ernest Lcighton reports that at tho clearance sale held in conjunction with tho United Farmers' Association, at Mr. James Gheotham's farm, Whitcman'tt Valley, there was a very largo attendance of buyers present, and a first-class sale, was tho result.
