Tho Employers', Farmers', and Citizens' Defencc Committ'eo passed a resolution at its meeting yesterday expressing its appreciation of tho lioblo conduct of the wives and families of tlioso farmers, who came to Wellington as special constables and worked on the wharf during the first stages of the strike.
