Mr. Austen Chamberlain, speaking at the Tariff Reform Conference at Manchester, in referring to Homo Rule runiours, said he was in tho habit of dining with half the Cabinet, but not of carrying on private negotiations. If Mr. Asquitli wanted a settlement ho should address Mr. Bonar Law.
