A PROPOSAL BY BRITAIN. By Tclcjraph-Press Association-CopyrisM Paris, December 16. : The Piii-is newspaper "Le Temps" says that Great Britain has forwarded a Noto to the Powers proposing thai, Greece should retain the occupied islands in the Aegean Sea, except Imhros and Toneclos, whilst Riving guarantees concerning their fortification, and also proposing that Italy should restore the captured islands to Turkey, which promises to grant them autonomy.
