BERDMAN moved that another conference should bo sought with the Legislative Council in regard to the disputed clause in tha Municipal Corporations . Amendment BiU._ ,'JHio clause in xjusstion empowers municipalities, to acquire and run motorbuses, Tho motion was agreed to, and managers ivero appointed. VICTORIA COLLEGE BILL. The Hou, JAMES ALLIEN informed tho Leader cf tho Opposition that ho intended to take tho second reading of tho Victoria College Amendment Bill, bat would not proceed further with that measure this year.
