MONTHLY MEETING. ' (By Telegraph.—Special Correspondent.) ' Mastorton, December 13. At tho monthly meeting of tho Masterton A. and P. Association on Saturday an intimation was received that the application of tho association for affiliation with tho Clydesdale Horse Society, had been granted. Thirty-three now members woro elected. Mr. G. l'\ Moore, of Kai Iwi, was elected a lifemember. A motion that visiting judges and patrons of the association bo entertained during show week was lost. Tho treasurer's report showed a debit balance at date of £167 ss. Bd. Arrangements woro made for canvassing for special prizes for tho show. The cheese industry is bounding .ahead at a great pace, and some factories are showing increased profits. It is gratifying to find that all factories that have recently, installed "Victor" Vats are amongst tho increased-profit earners. But it is only a repetition of things that havo happened before. "Victor" Vats ensure better quality cheese; therefore the profit must riso in accordance. Follow the profit earners' lead and instal "Victor" vats, Albert J. Parton, Plumber, Carterton.—Advt. It has taken many years to build up tho reputation of tho "Gilruth" Calf Food, but at last merit is rewarded, and this food comes into its own. Tho "Gilruth" Calf Food is now stocked by almost every Storekeeper in tho Dominion.—Advt,
