MAROONED IN ME ARCTIC; RUMOURS IN CANADA. By Teleirranh—Press Association—CopyrisrUS Ottawa, December 12. Tho Royal North-west Mounted Police from Arctic posts report that rumours, are in circulation that Mr. Stcfansson's Arctic exploration narly was marooned deliberately by tho crew of tho expedition's ship in consequence of dissensions. , Certain complaints concerning food, it ia reported, culminated in Sf.ofanss.on being obliged to land, leaving other members of the expedition in charge.
