Ifessrs. DaJgety and Company, Ltd., report:—At our Palmerstou North saio ou Thursday we have to report having a 6mall yarding of eheep and a. good entry of cattle. Owing to tli9 very rough weather, the attendance was small, but wo managed to quit nearly the whole of our entry at the following prices:—Eighteenmonths steers, bad colours, £3 19s. 6d.; two to two <jud a half-Tear steers, to £5; forward cows, £4 10s. 6d. to £4 155.; fat and forward cows, to £5 Is.; cows and calves, to £5 6a.; three-year-old bullocks, £7 2d. 6d.; small yearling steers, to £2 35.; 6horn light fat ewes, to 15s. 9d.; shorn fat ewes, 16s. 2d.; fat woolly ewes, £1 ss. Mecsrs. Dalgcty and Company, Ltd., report as follows on their stock sale held at the Upper iJutt on Thursday:—We had a very full yarding of cattle. With the exception of one pen of bulls, we cold every hoof under the hammer at satisfactory prices. We quote:—Weaner steers. £1 Bs.; yearling steers, £2 125.; yearling heifers, £2.55., £2 fo., .£2 95.; eighteen-months heifers, £2 83. to £2 18s.; heifers in calf, £3 3s. to £3 10s ; Jersey and llolstein he-ifers in calf, £5 19s. to £6 25.; heifers and calves, to £4; two and a half-year steers, £4 78. 6d. to £5 25.; bad coloured, to £3 6«.: forward 6tore cows, £3 195.; cows with calves, £3 15s. 6d.; springing heifers, £5 7s. to £7 165.; springing cows, £3 195.. £4 9s„ £8,-to £10 155.; bulls, £2 10e„ £2 165., to £3.
The Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report:—At .Solway on Wednesday, we submitted e, small entry of sheep and a good one of catt'e to a large attendance of buyers. Competition throughout the erlb was keen, and we aro pleased to report an almost total clearance at the following rate«s:—Shorn cweu with, lambs at foot, l!ta 2d.: weaner calves, £t ss. to £t 95.; yearling steers, £2 12s. fid. to £2 lirf. 6d.; empty cows, £3 7s. 6d. to £4 -45., tows and calves, £4 1«. to £4 75.; bulls, £3 to £4; hack. £5.

Quotations: Woaners. 195.; fif-teen-months steers. £2 18s. to £3 65.; storo cows, £4 93., £4 10ff., to £4 125.; bulla,. £4 ss. to £5 ss. .
