The, report presented at the annual meeting of the Temperance and General Mutual Life Society disclosed new business totalling £2,500,000. Tlio premium income had increased by over £.00,000, and tlio funds by £100,000. The expense rates bad been reduced, and the rate of interest earned by the funds, which now totalled £1,500,000, was £-1 12s. per centum. The directors' recommendation that a substantial increase bo made in the annual bonus was adopted.
