SENTENCED TO DEATH.
PERTH MURDER TRIAL. ' By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Perth, December 12. Odgers was. found guilty of the murder of Mrs. Molyneux, and sentenced to death. He protested his innocence. The murder of Mrs. Molyneaux was committed at North Danranup, 121 mites south of Perth, on October G last. Mrs. Molyneaux, during the absence of her husband, was paid attentions to by a man named Odgers. Subsequently the Molyneauxs Temove<l to another district. Odgers, learning of their whereabouts, borrowed a riile and ammunition and visited Molyncaux's house. He demanded to sej the wife, but the husband warned her to escape. Then, after a struggle with Odgers for tho rifle, the husband liimsolt fled with tho two children. Odgors fired two shots at them without doing any harm. After several shots had been heard, Molyneaux and a neighbour returned to the house and found llrs. Molyneaux shot dead. Odgers had disappeared, but was discovered a mile from tho scene of tho tragedy, shot through the mouth, his jaw being fractured. Ho had apparently attempted to | tako his own life.
