eighteenth annual meeting of Hie Yorkshire Society of Now Zealand was held in Godljcr's Rooms, Cuba Street, last evening, tire Rev, J. H. Sj-kes presiding-. The annual' report «ud" haknmslMjet was read and adopted. The bal-ance-sheet showed a credit of cash in hand amounting to £\Si 3s. 4d. The following officers wore elected:— President, Mr, J. Charltfswortli; vicepresidents, Rev. J. H. Svkes. Messrs. A. JPorliino, H. Parker, and J. .1.1. Ilclliwol); secretary, Mr. A. Fortune ( treasurer, Mr. .T. H, Flncktoti: committee; Messrs. H. Wood. F. Hinsdale, 1 G. H. Harfowbv, A. n. Harbottle, Vf.. W. Dolby, W. Isaac, and A. H. Mellor; auditors, Messrs. Htdliwell and Dalby.
