Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., Tcport:—At Waikanae, on Tuesday, we had a good yarding of both sheep and cattle. Although bidding for sheep dragged somewhat under the hammer wo wero able to cloar all lines afterwards, and on the whole have to report a highly successful sale. Prices realised were as under:— Shorn two-tooth wethers, 13s. lid., Hs„ 155.; shorn two-tooth ewes, 13s. 3d. to Ms. 3d.; shorn fat and forward ewes, 14s. lid.; 15month heifers, r.w.b.. £2 135.; 18-month and two-vcar heifers, £3 75.; 15-month stcerF, £2 159. 6d.; heifers in calf. £4 6s. to £4 17s. 6d.; cows in c.ilf, £5 55.: bulls, £3 125.. £1, £4 7s. 6d.; porkers, £1 7s. 6d.

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile. Agonry Co., Ltd., report:—At Kaumai on Tuesday, we had only a small yarding of stock. The demand wag good, and wo cold all lots at- late rates. Quotations:—Twotooth wethers, 14s. Id.: storo cows. £2 11-.; forward cows, to £4 17s. 6d.; fifteen-month lulls, £3 2s. 6d.
ADDINGTON STOCK SALES. (By Telegraph.—Press 'Association.) Christchurch, December 10. There was ,an average att-ondance at the Aldington live stock market to-day, in spite of the dull and rainy weather. As regards tho yarding of stock tliero was not any .outstanding change,, noticeable, as compared with moro Toceat markets, tho entries being- about tho same, with tho possiblo exception of fat and store sheepclasses which were in decidedly larger numbers. Fat lambs also were in better supply.
Fat lambs: There wero about 720 fat lambs in tho pens, as compared with 528 at the previous week's sale. Last wec% a drop of about 2s. per head had to be chronicled, and tho salo this afternoon was at about last week's rate 3.
Store sheep: Four-tooth wethers, 14s. 3d. to 15s. Bd.; two and four-tooth wethers, 13s. 7d. to 275. Id.; medium two-tooth wethers, 10s. sd. to 145.; good two-tooth wethers, to 15s. Bd.; two-tooth'ewes, 13e. Id. to 17s. Bd.; six and eight-tooth halfbrcd wethers, 18s.; pix and eight-tooth . woolly ewes, with lambs. 16s. sd. (all counted); four, six, end eight-tooth ewes, with lambs, 13s. 3d.; aged ewes with lambs, 7s. 10d.; six and cighU tooth ewes. 14s. 7d.; four and six-tooth ewes, 15s. lOd.
Fat sheep: The entry of fat sheep showed an increase over last week's market, ewes and wethers both being well represented. There were practically no woolly sheep in the section at the sale, and tho ondlity of the bulk of the pons was good. The fact that exporters wero holding off had a depressing offcet upon tho market as supplies were iTathcr In excess of tho local demand. ThV sale opened only moderately well, and a; weaker tone was manifested towards tho close.
Fat cattle: Steers, £S ss. to £11; extra, to £16 55.; heifers, £5 17s. $d. to £9-10s.; extra, to £12 55.; cows. £5 7s. 6d. to £10; extra, to £13 6d. There was an (l\ot ago yarding of fat calves, and an unchanged demand, prices ranging from 8s to 60s.
Store cattle: Yearlings realised £2 7s. to £2 16s; fifteen to eighteen-month sorts, £3 ss. to £4; two-year steers. £5 145.; twoyear heifers, £4 13c=. to £4 175.; three-year steers, £6 56.; two and a half-year steers. £5 145.: three-year heifers, £5 Is.: cows, £2 to £6 155.; cows with calves. £6 15s. Dairy cows: A small yardincr of dairy cows consisted of poor animclfi.' good cows being unrepresented. Representative prices ranged from £3 to £9 10s.
Pigs: Choppers, £3 10s. to £4 12s. 6rt.; heavy baeoners, 655. to 70a; lighter. 50a. to 60s. Those nricei wero cnnal to sd. to s!d. per lb. Hewy porkers brought 435. to 47g.; lighter. 375. to 4te. BTJRXSIDE MARKET. Dunodln, December 10. At Burnsido to-day 210 fat cattle wero yardod, chiefly medium quality bullocks and heifers. At tho beginning, of the sale pricee showed a drop of :lte. per'head on last week's rates, and towards tho end there was a further dcelino of about 10s.
