THE KIA ORA'S LIFT.
CARGO VALUED AT £249,000. The Kia Ora, which sailed for London on Sunday morning, took the following dairy produce from the undermentioned ports.:—B»uir, 8935 crates of cheese; Dunedin, 7339 boxes of butter, 2623 crates cheese; Gisborne, 1098 boxes butter, 125 erases cheese; Napier, 445 crates cheese; "Wellington, 4848 boxes butter; 2353 crates cheese. Totals; "Butter, 13,285 boxes; cheese, 14,481 .'cratos. Tho estimated valuo of tho ■above is: Butter, £39,855; cheese, ''£01,545. Other exports taken by. tho wero 8642 bales of wool and £187 bales of hemp. These wero valued jit £148,472. This amount and tho Butter and cheese values made a total if £249,872. That portion of the ship's cargo which Vvas lifted at Wellington comprised 1163 ~ bales of wool, -253 bales of skins, 2694 bales of hemp, 334 bales of tow, 56 casks tallow, 21 casks pelts, 150 bags of schcolitc, 2997 carcasses mutton, 1667 ■ carcasses lariib, 4848 boxes butter, 2353 orates cheese, and 3 packages of sun'drics.
