The Hntt Valley Motor-Cycle Club will shortly be a going concern. Tho prime movers in mm formation of this organisation find that thero are over fifty motor-cycle, riders in Potoiio and Lower ilutt. During the past twelve montns the Lower Hutt Methodist Church Ladies' Guild has been the means of raising upwards of £100 by weans of garden parties, "at homes," etc. As a result the debt, or: the church organ has been extinguished. The Hutt Valley Homing Pigeon Club's race last Saturday from Danneyirlro resulted as follows: —Mr. .1. Cross's "Red Heron," I (2hrs. 24mm., veloeiiv K)77.~>(> varcls per minute): Mr. W. Smith's "Midnight/' 2 (2hrs. 27min. fii'see., velocity 1040.54 per minute). Messrs, Cough Bros.' "Ml Blue," 3 (2hrs. SSniin. . r )2sw., velocity 1931.75 yards per minute).
