Wedding in St. Paul's. The marriage took place yesterday afternoon iu St. Paul's Pro-Cathedral of Miss Daisy Logan, youngest daughter of the lato Mr. J. K. Logan, I-&0., Wellington, to Mr. James Robertson Rowdeu-Smith, of Kw-ell, Surrey (England), anil youngest soil of tire late Rer..Bowdeii-Sinit!i, of fl-ugby (England), and nephew of Admiral Sir Nathaniel Rowdeii-Smith, K.C'.JL, of London. The marriage ceremony was performed by tho Rev. Archdeacon Fancourt, assisted bv the vicar, the Rev. A. M. Johnson, Si. A., and Miss D'Oylry played the organ. Tho bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr. 1). K. Logan, of Masterton, wore a gown of ivory ninon and honiton lace, draped with satin of the'same soft shade, tho bodice being almost entirely composed of lace and. ninon. From the back of the shoulders fell a court train of ivory broche, caught at one side with sprays of orange blossoms, and she wore a veil, also fastened with clusters of orange blossoms. Miss Dora Bsotli was the bridesmaid, and wore a gown of white satin draped with crepe do chine, ending in a fish-tail train, and a whito tulle •hat with a crown of floral brocade, encircled with black velvet ribbon ending in long loops behind, A spray of pink roses lay on one side of the brim. Tho bride's bouquet was of palest pink Malmaison carnations, and her gifts from tho bridegroom wore a diamond brooch and a pearl and aquamarine necklace. The bridesmaid's posy was of dark red I and palest pink roses, and her gift from | the bridegroom was a sapphire and pearl brooch. Thero were also in attendance upon the bride two little pages, Masters Jimmy Hall and lan Logan, both of whom wore in white satin suits. The best man was Major West. Mrs, H. Hall, the sister of tho bride, wore a gown of embroidered white crepe <h chino with touches of red, and a white crepe hat trimmed with tulle and a suggestion of red to suit the gown. Her bouquet was of crimson carnations. Miss Logan was in grey with n flowered bat, and Miss Lily Logan wore a gown that was a delicate combination of cream and champagne coloured cropo do chine, with a golden brown hat.trimmed with feathers mounted high and a brim lined with blue. Mrs. \\. Logan (Palmorston North) was in a champagne coloured frock and hat of the sameshado with touches of pink. Mrs. D. Logan (Masterton) wore a white embroidered voile and black hat with rucning of tulle; Mrs. lleid was in blue shot silk and a black hat. A reception was afterwards held at the residence or Mr. and Mrs. H. Hall iu Hill Street, and tho health of the bride and bridegroom, proposed by Archdeacon Fancourt, duly honoured. Among those, present were:—Lady Ward, Mrs. and Miss Soaton, Mrs. and Miss Gawith (Masterton), and Mr. B. Cfaivitli, Miss Fancoiirt, Mrs. W. Young and -Miss Young, -Airs. and Miss Didaburv, Miss Kane Mrs. I'itchett, Mr. and Mrs. Can! Palmer, Mr. Beauchamp and Miss lieauclianip, Mrs. Hales, Miss Hannay, Mr. G. l)idsburv, and many others. The brioe'S S»in<r-4\vay dress was of lavcnuer crepe dp cTiino with a hat of floral brocade, trimmed with pink and heliotrope flowers. The bouquets for the wedding wore made by Miss Murray, florist, Willis Street.

Mrs. Earle, sen., of Wellington, is (says our correspondent) on a shortvisit to GrcytoTO. Tho third concert of tho twentieth season of tho Wellington Licdc-rtafcl will bo given in the Concert Chamber of the Town Hull on Friday evening. Madame Rrainsby will bo one of the soloists on this occasion, Miss L. Udy, of J'etono, has been appointed teacher of the Kaknriki School, Wnirarapa. Miss Udy will take up duty after the summer vacation, Mr. and Mrs. Clias. Rhodes and Miss Rhodes, Roimicra, have returned .to Auckland after a holiday of some eight months, tho greater part of which was spent in London and San Francisco. Miss Dolly Allen, the younger daughter of tho Hon. James Allen, Minister of Education, is leaving Now Zealand next March for an indefinite period. It is Miss Allen's intention to study tho Montcsorri system of education under the celebrated teacher at Rome, and it is probably that on her return to tho Dominion Miss Alien will take up tho profession of teaching. Miss Lowry, Hastings, is visiting friends in Auckland. Mrs. Harold Thomson, Inglcwooil, is spending a few weeks with her mother, Mrs. Dargaville, Itcmucra, Auckland. Mrs. Borustein (Duncdin) is paying a visit to her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. lienjamin, Symonds Street, Auckland. Mrs. J. Farkor, of Napier, is visiting her mother in Auckland. Mrs. Holdsworth (Auckland) is visiting Hastings, and is tho guest ot her sisters, Sirs. H. V, Stratton. Miss Barnett, who has been spending the last three years in .England and upon the Continent, is returning to New Zealand by the Ruahine, due today.
